Personal Logo

My personal logo is based a marking that I have made on my art work since the 9th grade. I wanted to put some recognition of myself that was something other than my name in a corner or in the back or hidden in the composition (cliche). I think this a logo that could work on many different things. Not only is it something I use for Advertising but I use it personally. I currently am using it for my presidential campaign for my senior year Government Class election. The logo is getting as positive response from students due to its originality, while in this situation and in the real world, the same designs are used repetively.

Advertising- Letter Head

Advertising- Business Cards

Front

My business logo and card were based on a what is very popular in mens sartorial culture at the moment. What men around the world want right now is the slim and sleekness of the 1950s mixed into today's contemporary inovations in haberdashery. What many people refer to as the "Mad Men" -look. Even in this economy, men outspend women on their clothing. Men like to have items they can wear very long periods of time, since they "hate shopping", I agree with most men, I hate shopping too. I would like to have to buy something the least amount of times in life as possible. There for many men will purchase the items offered at this store because it is presented in a manner that can appeal to them and live up to their requirements. Haberdashery is the American-English term that means fine mens clothing store.

AP Concentration Essay Sample

I have always had an interest in haberdashery, not fashion which is illusive and you have to chase. I had no interest in becoming a designer or a tailor. When I look at people I automatically think of ways they can accentuate their positive features and be able to work with their imperfections. Don’t get me wrong, I am not obsessed with making people look like they are a model, in fact I hate the idea of makeup as well as any other product that conceals what you are. My concentration is “Designing attractiveness,” it is all about how you can take objects or even people and bring out features in them that pleasing to the eye. Whether an anatomy piece or an abstract object, these pieces are designed in a way to create a feeling of pleasure and satisfaction to the viewer.

Summer Homework

Summer Homework

I believe in the art permanent fashion; timelessness. I wanted to create a piece that was inspired by the luxury consumer trend of today. Becuase of the economy those who can afford luxury items are being items that are not trendy, things they could wear anywhere from 10 years to 30 years from now and still be stylish. This piece takes you back a half a century to a time wear everyone male or female pulled off a flawless look. It makes me think of how everyone looked glamorous without so much thought and effort. This necklace gives you a feeling a luxury with the layered gold, pearl and Swarovski™ crystal.
